“Eeny Teeny Maya Mo”

In this episode of the Simpsons Marge beings to get on Homers back about not spending enough time with Maggie. He is portrayed as a man that is so obsessed with sports and sitting on the couch that he is not involved in his daughter’s life. I thought it was really funny how Maggie saw the dog as more of a father figure than Homer and also when he called her Mugsie instead of Maggie. Homer begins to spend time with her but only continues to bring her to Moe’s bar where they discover that there is a play ground right outside. He leaves Maggie outside with the other babies but she begins to be tortured and bullied by them. Moe begins to talk to a woman online and when he meets her he discovers that she is a midget. He enjoys spending time with her but does not bring her around any of his friends in fear that they will make fun of her size. As Moe becomes more comfortable he begins to make jokes about her size and then proposes. Maya becomes angry with his jokes and makes him leave. In the meantime, Marge does not trust what Homer is exposing Maggie to during their daily outings so she purchases a camera to spy on them. Later on she discovers Homer’s true ability to be a good father when he saves Maggie from the other children in the playground. Maya tells Moe that she does not want him to make himself her size and that she wants him to stop focusing on her size. At the closing seen of the episode I thought it was really cute when Moe finally realizes how happy Maya makes him no matter what she looks like.
